James is walking!!!

So James has been very close to walking the past few weeks and I was able to capture him walking on camera. Every day he is getting better and better about keeping his balance. I know he'll be out running me soon and I know I'm in trouble. Hopefully I can keep up with him. Here's a little video of him walking.

Something very exciting happened this past week. James Michael starting crawling a few days shy of turning 8 months old. My little man is growing up so fast. Check out the video!

First Teeth!

So I've been meaning to write a blog about James getting his first teeth in. We noticed the first one broke through his gums around April 10th. He has since had the second one come in. I was actually really surprised about them coming in because he wasn't really fussy at all. I hear all of the horror stories about being up all night with a crying baby because they are teething. We didn't have any of that. I am very thankful that we have had such an easy baby. I'm sure our next will be a nightmare, but it will be worth it. So here is a picture of James' first teeth...not sure if you can make them out. I'll try and get a better one soon.

What is wrong with people?!

As most people know, I like to take care of my yard so that it looks nice. We just recently planted all new plants for the Spring. We woke up this morning to see that all of the snapdragons I had planted in the boxes along the fence were ripped out. I am absolutely livid right now. I know that I don't live in the best neighborhood, but seriously, who gets their jollies from ripping out someones plants? I guess it could have been worse and they could've vandalized our house or car, but I'm still just as pissed. I can't wait to get out of this god-forsaken neighborhood and move to Texas. Well now that I've vented, I guess I'll go re-plant my snapdragons...hopefully they'll stay that way.

This is the most adorable video of James Michael laughing. I love watching him at this age and seeing all of the new things he does every day. This was the first time we caught him truly laughing. Doesn't it just melt your heart?

James Micheal is growing before our eyes

I finally realize how much time being a mother truly takes. Everyone said that having children would change your life forever and man were they right. I absolutely love being a stay at home mom, but that little man really does monopolize my time. Hence the reason I have not updated my blog in so long. Since it's been months since I've updated, I thought I'd show a progression of how James has grown. I can't believe he's already over 4 months old!
