Thanksgiving

It was James Michael's first Thanksgiving and the first time his Nanny and Poppy and Aunt Kate were able to meet him. It was very moving seeing Poppy turn into mush when he was holding James. We had a wonderful time with the family and look forward to many more holidays with all of the family.

James Michael has arrived!

So this is a little late, but James Michael has finally arrived. He is three weeks old today and I am still getting used to having him here. He is a wonderful addition to our family and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. As some of you may know, we had a little bit of a scare when he was born. He was born not breathing and had to spend three days in the NICU. Thankfully he recovered fully and was able to come home with us when we were discharged from the hospital.

I am so thrilled to be a mother and cannot even begin to explain how it feels. It is the most amazing experience I think that I will ever have (that is until the next one comes along :-)). I am really looking forward to watching James Michael grow and become a man...although I don't want that to happen too fast :-). He is an absolute joy. Here are some pictures of him. I will try and keep my blog more up to date with his milestones. Enjoy!
