Kinder Cooks

Months ago I purchased a Groupon for a children's cooking class at Young Chef's Academy. James has always loved cooking and I thought this would be a fun thing to do. I conned my girlfriend Dana into purchasing one too so we could take our kids together. Well with the Groupon expiration date quickly approaching we decided to sign them up for the class last night. On the menu was tomato soup and caprese salad. Unfortunately, tomatoes are the one veggie that McKay does not like, so we knew it was going to be an interesting experience. All in all, they had a great time and did a wonderful job listening and participating. James loved the salad and soup so much that he can't wait to make them for us. Well he's luckily going to get his chance tomorrow to make the caprese salad for Daddy's birthday dinner. I'll make sure to blog about how it goes!
